For celebrity chefs, deciding what they’d want for their last meal is no small feat. In My Last Supper, chefs from Ferran Adria to Mario Batali share their dream menus. Ranging from the simple (cheeseburger with a fried egg) to the decadent (truffles and foie gras), they each speak to different themes. Some draw on memories of meals from their youth or home country. Others choose the cuisine that they’ve built their restaurant empire around. It’s a celebration of their values – and as Chef Zakarian of the Plaza Hotel says, of the earth and “what wonderful things God left us to enjoy.”
